A Modern Soiree Events & Design is an event planning, design, company based in Sherborn, Massachusettes with over a decade of experience. Led by Heather and, her decorating team, A Modern Soiree is known for producing custom events filled with thoughtful details, inventive design, and seamless flow.
We are passionate about creating one-of-a-kind experiences that reflect the true essence of our clients’ individual personalities. We approach each event with the production and installation knowledge that has been building over years of hands-on experience in entertainment, floral design, event styling, event production, food and beverage, and hospitality.
A Modern Soiree is known for infusing distinctive design concepts, as well as schemes rooted in traditional, we feel strongly that each element included in your event should be equally personal and inviting. Together we are there to to make sure you enjoy every minute of your special day. With A Modern Soiree, you will have a professional planner to keep you on schedule & in budget. If you do plan to use our services, we ask that you complete booking promptly, because we book a limited number of weddings per weekend, our calendar fills very quickly, and all dates are reserved on a first-come, first-booked basis.

About Heather:
"I'm the founder and lead wedding and events coordinator behind A Modern Soiree Events & Design, a wedding, event planning and design firm. With over a decade of experience in the events industry, it has become my life's passion to help people. I am a connector that loves bringing people together.
I care a tremendous amount about each couple I work with, and thus, see it as my job to help create your wedding and event, your way – creating very individual weddings and events from intimate and organic affairs to the more glamorous and opulent occasions.I’ve learned that the best weddings/events are those that are completely reflective of who you are as a couple and what you core priorities are. As an event coordinator and manager, I understand, how to combine logistics and planning with design and personality to do just this.
We continue to hit over 20 sales every year in multiple markets and have served over 150+ happy couples.
I am certified as a Professional Wedding Planner with NYIAD.
When I am not working, I have a wide variety of interests and hobbies such as reading, painting and completing my first 10k! I also enjoy traveling, all things tropical and spending time with my fiance and two rescue dogs Shadow & Skye."
